Hands-on and supervised
Children take part in a chocolate-making workshop, supervised at all times by our experienced staff, and teachers can watch through our viewing wall. Visits run under the guidance of Andrew Wilson, whose family has long been part of the confectionery and chocolate-making trade.
Curriculum links
We often have visits from classes learning about:
- how chocolate is made
- the history of chocolate and where the ingredients come from
- business studies
- marketing and entrepreneurship
- Fairtrade and organic food
